The Royal Grand Palace, (Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang). A Complex of
Royal buildings as Dusit Phra, Wat Phra Kaew, and the Chakri
Mahaprasad Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. A trip to the capital of
Thailand would not be complete without a visit of the Royal
Grand Palace in Bangkok. One of the most places who visited by
tourists from all over the world. |

| The 'Royal Grand Palace'
complex is an area with many Royal palaces. You have the Outer
Court, with nearly all the government departments. The Central
Court is in the middle of the Ayutthaya Palaces. This is the
official residence of the Kings of Thailand. At the front of the Central Court you are
allowed to have a look. |

| After the Central Court you have the
Inner Court. The Inner Court was the place where the daughters
of the king lived, also his Royal Consorts. This place, the
'Inner Court' is completely closed to the public. |

The fee to visit the Central Court and the Temple of the
Emerald Buddha is 350 Baht.
Opening hours of the Grand Palace Bangkok.
| The Royal Grand Palace daily opens from 08.30 to
15.30. If there is a State Function, it will be closed.
Be carefully for the touts if they are working outside
the Grand Palace. Be sure to take your own guide. |
There
are free guided tours available in English at the follow
times: 10.00, 10.30, 13.30, 14.00. There is also a
possibility to rent for 100 Baht an audio guide. As
deposit you have to give your credit card or passport.

The Grand Palace audience halls closed at the
weekends. To see the thrones you have to visit the Grand
Palace at the weekdays.
Only one day a year, at the 6th of April, the Royal
Pantheon is open for public in the Temple of the Emerald
Buddha. |
Important Notice:
The Dress Code is very strict for visit the Royal Grand
Palace in Bangkok.
The Emerald Buddha Temple is the most sacred site in Thailand.
You must be properly dressed. There is a strictly dress code to
entry the temple. Before being allowed you have to follow the
dressing rules.
For men: Must wearing long pants.
Must wearing long shirts with sleeves.
If you wearing flip flops or sandals, you have to
wear socks. (No bare feet). |

For Women: Must be modestly similarly dressed.
No clothes see trough and no bare shoulders.
Note: If you be at the front gate and
you show up improperly dressed. You can provide clothes near the
entry to dressed you up properly. As security, you have to leave
your credit card or passport. |
